ArtofConnection.org collects information from Users at a number of different points on our website.
(A) When a User sends a message through the ArtofConnection.org website, the User’s email address and message is recorded as part of the transmission process.
This information is kept confidential and is made available only to (1) trained ArtofConnection.org support team for purposes of administering ArtofConnection.org, such as moderating for spam or other content that is in violation of ArtofConnection.org terms of service, and (2) the therapist(s) to whom the User sends the email. ArtofConnection.org never rents, sells, or gives this information to any third party.
When a User emails a therapist through the ArtofConnection.org email messaging system, the User is conveniently and automatically emailed a notification when the therapist has been contacted. (B) When a User calls a therapist through the telephone number posted on the ArtofConnection.org website, standard caller identification information is collected and forwarded to the therapist, and may be stored by ArtofConnection.org for use in administering its services. ArtofConnection.org never rents, sells, or gives this information to any third party.
(B) ArtofConnection.org may collect email addresses when Users download a file or within a questionnaire. This information may be used in an anonymous way. If an email address is given, it may be used to send Users their results or summaries. All emails are deleted following sending the results. ArtofConnection.org never rents, sells, or gives this information to any third party.
(C) ArtofConnection.org uses Google Analytics which collects information about your browsing experience on our site. This information is used in an anonymous way and not associated with a specific individual. Information Disclosure
ArtofConnection.org does not sell or otherwise provide personally identifiable information collected through its website, surveys or services to third parties, except as specifically authorized by the User, such as in a profile, blog post, User email, or other authorized disclosures of information. ArtofConnection.org may disclose personally identifiable information about Users, only if such disclosure is (a) required by subpoena, law, or other legal process; (b) necessary to assist law enforcement officials or government enforcement agencies; (c) necessary to investigate violations of or otherwise enforce our Terms of Service or Terms of Service and Use; (d) necessary to protect us from legal action or claims from third parties including you and/or other Users and/or (e) necessary to protect the legal rights, personal/real property, or personal safety of ArtofConnection.org, our Users, employees, and affiliates. Log Files
Like most standard website servers, ArtofConnection.org uses log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track users’ movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information contained in user profiles.
Survey Results
Your confidentiality is respected. We will never ask for your name or identifying information, except in the form of an email (in order to send results). Email addresses are deleted before data is downloaded in a digital format. All data is identified only by code number. And all anonymous data collected is kept in digital format in a locked location and is password protected.
